WAYS IN WHICH YOU CAN HELP, IN LITTLE
WAYS THAT HELP A LOT!
DO look out for our planned quiz fundraiser! Kindly prepared by Daryl Sunderland, quiz sheets will be widely available locally at £1.00 each.

It is very tempting to want to tidy every single inch of your garden all ready for the 'In Bloom' judging days. But Britain in Bloom is NOT just about growing cultivated plants in neat borders.
DO try to make sure that your garden has some corners designed to encourage wildlife:-
DO put up a bird feeder, or leave out some wrinkled apples, and watch!
A heap of dead leaves under a hedge or some protective twigs, a pile of logs or even a some drinking straws tied in a bundle and tucked under a window-sill create welcome wildlife hotels!
( Don't forget to leave them undisturbed!)
Even such seemingly small gestures help to maintain the vital food chains necessary for life's delicate balance.
