WHAT A BLOOMIN' PICTURE!
(NATWEST GARDEN CROCUS ETC)
Doesn't the NatWest garden look a picture after the efforts of the
'Bloom' team?!
By now, the Spring planting will be well under way, bringing with it the promise of great things to come! April is a busy time for planting, especially for your 'Bloom team', but we have to watch out! Bright warm days can still be followed by ground frost, so we proceed with care!
Can we make a plea for plants please - particularly of the hardy herbaceous variety? At this time of year, with most plants having emerged from their winter dormancy, you may be lifting and dividing some of your bigger plants - so any spare divided plants would be very much welcomed as a contribution to some of our larger schemes! We have to constantly bear in mind however, that the judges will be on the lookout for something different. We can promise you that we will not disappoint, but any ideas/suggestions would be most welcome! We will be showing them plenty of 'before' and 'after' pictures this year, to to show them what a difference to the town we have made, even since doing so 'bloomin' well in the last two years!
