What a difference some rain makes,look at the colour in the herb garden now

and somewhere for lunch

or hover over to a flax flower for some tastey nectar

 

 

 

 

Some of our volunteers and committee members have been busy transforming it from a rather overgrown and plain seating area, into a marvellous herb garden for the benefit of the local community...

  

 

The beds were dug out by Calderdale Council's parks department and the beds and borders have been planted up with a large variety of both culinary and medicinal herbs.

  

Eventually it is hoped that communities will be able to make use of this garden.
