" May I say as a Todmorden resident (and a keen gardener) how much I enjoy the work your group puts into brightening the community. The boxes are wonderful, and the herb garden opposite the cricket field is my favourite. I walk past there frequently and have enjoyed watching it grow"

I'd given up with my planter especially when all the lovely new wooden tubs appeared next to it. I have tried three times this year to get some colour in it only to see it drowning every day.

But low and behold I came in to the office on Monday 22nd July and it had been transformed by some angel.

Thanks Tod in Bloom you do a wonderful job

How about a "Best Street" catagory in this year's tod in bloom competition? We in harley bank think we have a winning street !!
Not to mention the community garden we've been building at the junction of harley street and victoria road.

I saw a bumble bee in my garden yesterday and today, at Sheila's, we saw our first Red Admiral. Does anyone know why there are so many robins in Tod at the moment?

Ann and I noticed the article in the Tod New about House Martins around Nutfield St and we thought that when Ann collects the posters on Wednesday she will drop off some bird boxes at St Joseph's School and Church.
